
I spent tons of time cleaning up this page, adding historical information, including the first ambigrams ever, a timeline and other information, and removing lots of random ambigrams. I've done them myself for almost ~30 years. I know most of the prominent ambigramists personally. Would this qualify as a use of an ambigram in popular culture? (From The Shining, reads as "MURDER" in a mirror.) Additionally, they were added by the author, suggesting that they are really just supposed to be advertisements for his own work, or a way of showcasing some work that he liked. They are not particularly notable, and do not show any special types of ambigrams.
